I don't think he will play this fall

Yes he applied for the 6th year and I'm not surprised he got it. As I have said for two months now, I do not expect him to return for the 2013 season. He will leave MSU, or he might be a GA or student coach of some sort for the team.

I am friends with his Dad and coach his little brother in pee wee football and Buford is correct. He is not going to play for MSU anymore in his career. I hate that because we really need him but his dad said that Tobias has just burnt out from years of conditioning, injuries, and rehabbing.

Do you mean that he won't play anymore in college or that he'll transfer and play someplace else?

Then I figure it went something like this

Ok, we'll apply for the 6th year, you take the Spring off, and if you feel the same way...then ok, you have an option.

Football is not that easy to let go of, He could change his mind.

I spoke to his grandmother in Jacksonville during the Gator Bowl and she indicated that he was pretty worn out physically. He has had alot of injuries. She told me that he suffered a mild concussion during the Gator Bowl.
