EDIT: it has to. Other Example: Sagarin has Charleston #88. RPI has them #2, so NET has them #53. Dumb

Most other computer rankings still have some prior season data baked in. NET uses no prior season data, so the early season sees some wild swings with each new game.

It doesn’t have to be for Sagarin’s. They could do the right thing, for accuracy. You don’t have to be richthedentist to know who won the game.
They gonna start adjusting for the 3 PT foul not called in last seconds too? Slippery slope.
Have to judge what the metrics are, not what they should be.
Start adding ifs and buts and the already flawed system goes completely off the rails.
