Johnny Manziel goes number 1 overall or in the first round? Disaster or brilliance? or in the 3rd or 4th like jawarski said.

I think you're looking at a lot of off the field news, and maybe a few dust ups in the locker room. We thought he was buck wild in college, wait until next year.

There is the home town butts in the seats argument. Ticket sales, jersey sales. Can he stay healthy in the league? Too short, not big enough. How can you pass on clowney?

Discuss.

I don't see anyway Bill O'Brien takes him #1. Someone might trade up and take him, but I don't see a pro-style coach taking him first overrall.

I think the Texans goal at this point is to trade down. I wouldn't be surprised if over the next couple weeks you start hearing more and more "Texans like Clowney" "Texans in talks with Clowney" reports in the media. They'll leak that out to put pressure on a team that's in love with Clowney. He's probably got more value at this point than JFF.

I agree. I don't think he's O'Brien's guy. I'd like to see them pair Clowney with Watt on the DL, but I think they trade out of #1, and later take Bortles. Without the right deal (meaning if they can't get Bortles), maybe they stick with Clowney. The need for a QB is pressing, though.

Get Clowney. Go after Mallett after the draft (or during). He's coached him already so there is some familiarity there. I don't see any of the QBs in this draft being franchise players, but I'm sure there is at least one.

First Round

Don't know who will take him, but I can't see him going to round 2.

Besides being elusive, I think speed to make a decisions is off the charts.

I think his off the field BS will begin to settle down, as he moves into the Real World.

He's just been having Fun. Hell he won that trophy as a Freshman, and the world has been at his feet.
