The article about OM students being able to earn an emphasis in early education. Again, this was the main headline in bold font at the top of the front page.

Then buried within the article: A similar program already exists at Mississippi State University. But, the new efforts at Ole Miss will impact the entire state, Rock said. (Rock is the Dean of the OM School of Education)

2nd C-L complaint.: A big large pic on the front page and 2nd biggest article, "Jacksonian rolls with Tide", is about a guy who once went to State but is a big Bama fan and lives in Jackson.

P.S. Yesterday, I was driving on 82 and coming the other way I saw two 18-wheeler trucks, each carrying half of a brand-new double wide trailer. The cabs of the trucks were painted solid white, with only one single logo on the door, about 1-2 feet tall:

Who was the douchebag Bama fan they wrote about, and why even write an article

about some bandwagon Bama fan? Speaking of, sidewalk alums are the most obnoxious Bama fans there are. I know some actual graduates of Bama, and most of them are not nearly as in your face about Bama's superiority as the sidewalk alums.

The Clarion-Ledger has been working hard for a long time to get rid of its professionals and replace them with affordables. Clearly, they're getting there.

What a total joke of a MS paper. Can you imagine the Birmingham News giving the time of day to an article about some guy from Alabama that was an MSU fan now? The newspaper headquarters would probably get egged if they did such a ridiculous thing.

The B'ham News probably would not do that specifically, but they (along with the other major state newspapers in Huntsville and Mobile) and in a steep decline and recently went to a 3-days-a-week publication. The rest is online. So it's not just the CL that is falling.

But I doubt they would ever, under any circumstances, publish an even halfway complimentary article about an out of state SEC team or alumus, unless it was in a placating and condescending tone.

I would not want to be mentioned in an article like that!

From the headline I thought they were talking about educating Ole Miss early about Erectile Dysfunction.... you konw, ED!
