If Tommy doesnt listen and has issues with Langs then Langs is a bigger douche than I thought. If a player is like that and you still stick with him through thick and thin, then you need to go. I would rather lose with a qb that gets no playing time rather than with a 3rd year player who chooses not to get better.

I have a hard time believing they don't get along. I can see TA questioning Langs as he isnt sure of the offense, but that would be about it.

Regarding Feraggamo and Humm, they each only played three seasons as freshmen didn't play on the varsity in their freshman year. NU had a JV team at the time, not too sure if either of them played on the JV squad though.

ah! that explains it. if I was riley I would offer every qb leech and snyder go after. for some reason they get decent passer at least every other year, and we haven't had one since ganz

Definitely a douche. Has arisen to almost the highest of heights in his profession and donated a kidney to someone who was more or less a complete stranger. Maybe he instead feels like his hands are tied behind his back?

Why is 50/50 the desired "balance"? Just because it's even?

It's the desired balance because it is the definition of balance, at least at the ideal. It's furthermore obvious why offenses like and try to achieve balance: it keeps the defense off-guard. Your question is better put "why should we be trying to achieve balance?" I take it that is a legitimate question given this team's constitution.

If I'm Mike Riley, I'm on a plane tonight heading to visit a JUCO QB to come in and start next year, Tommy and the rest of Bo's "running backs that throw" need to go.
Yep. Im beyond tired of RBs behind center. One problem is this is a pathetic year for JUCO QBs.

Dear rrt: I'm curious, which you think is a better choice for a QB (pretty much any position, really):

Option #1, a talented, experienced leader who doesn't listen to his coaches.

OR

Option #2, a young, hungry, less athletic but COACHABLE player.

TYIA
Depends on how less athletic QB #2 is.

We all know you like Option #2. So you tell us, you would start either Fyfe, Bush or Darlington over Armstrong?
