In 1999 you were the leading pouch punter coming into Bryant-Denny Stadium. At that point MSU was undefeated at 8-0 with wins over USCe, LSU, Auburn, Vanderbuilt, Oklahoma State, Memphis, Kentucky, and Middle Tennessee State, While Alabama was already a two loss team with losses to Louisiana Tech and Tennessee in the Third Saturday of October. What was the game preparation like in 1999 for a JWS led team? Did you get multiple reps preparing to pouch punt that week, were there any special speeches by the coaching staff. Walk us through what it is like as a player to prepare for a game this important.... Obviously the following game weeks will be equally important but what is it like in a specific game week? What insight can you offer into game week preparation for a game this important? And finally how did you get yourself ready to be called at a moments notice to pouch punt?

(1) Rank the following qb's: Taite, Wyatt, Madkin, Fant, Relf, Russel in order from one through six for (a) who you would have rather started a game for you at the end of their career (or now for Russel) and (b) who you think would have been the best qb had they been developed by Mullen and were getting to play for this team. If there is anybody he feels he didn't see enough of to judge, simply leave them out.
(2) Of the qb's he's personally seen and State teams he's personally seen, which qb would he insert into which years team to create the team most likely to compete for a national championship?
