Shaheen is weird with the starting lineup. Last year he used to start Okorafor and play him 6 total minutes. What on earth is the point of that?

I get what’s he’s saying about team chemistry, which can be a fragile thing, but I don’t see how it outweighs the larger issue of not being able to score for multiple minutes at the beginning of every game.

Stat McCray makes a lot of head scratching plays, but he also makes a lot of good happen. I probably trust him the most on the team. I wouldn’t bench him. He’s our leading scorer, captain, arguably best player
Yeah don't know why people suggesting him. It's Williams and Fischer who have been weakest part of our starting lineup. Willaims has been a ball stopper for a while. It's obvious Simpkins for Willaims.

Fisher’s numbers are terrible and have really dropped off. There was a play during our 2H surge last night where you could see the value of having Hines in and clearing space for him. Hope to see more of that. You can see how he has no clue right now; he probably leads the team in number of layups that end up in jump balls after he goes up. It’s uncanny. That’s a guy not attacking assertively and not finishing. His BE %’s and efficiency is way down from when he played in the league two years ago at DePaul. The o-rating alone was 103.3 there to 80.2 here, wow.
shot under 50% from the field at Pacific.

If Fisher gets into the key with the ball, he is shooting and that is often a bad choice. Dar was best last night but they have all given us good games. I may rotate the starting pfs. My one definate change - I start twin for MW - this also helps AJ get more room. Would start Naj if fouls didnt scare me.

And lets pass to the post and kick it out to shooters. At least 3 of our 3s were on kickouts

Remember year 1 with Kadary coming off the bench?

He didn’t have these concerns with last year’s team or Year 1 when it was changing often. But he uses it to motivate some groups, others not.
I think he understood the players from those teams and managed their useage accordingly. I think that's what he's doing this year, whether we agree with it or not. I disagree philosophically with Sha about offense and the importance of three point shooting, but I don't have a beef with his keeping the starting lineup intact. He's still getting plenty of minutes for his best subs and he's got the best five on the floor in crunch time.
