His 3 year conference record at Auburn is 12-38 and that is the worst win % in school history over a 3 year period. Safe to say he's fired. Why do I feel like they're going to hire Stansbury?

A) All the Auburn people on other boards say he is returning another season
B) They are not going to hire Stansbury....he'll be back in the bus leagues ala Brady
I could see Stansbury sitting out, but then again if I'm an AD at any school in the SEC other than Florida or UK and need a coach I'm going after Stans first. Relatively young guy who is out of a job and won a good bit in the SEC. .

But I do know the Barbee I saw on the bench had the look of a man that hates his job. He looked like a pouting toddler.
he looked to me like he hated his team. He definitely wasnt enjoying himself today at any time during the game. Looked miserable
Most people feel his best days are behind him and dont want the circus his teams have surrounding them. How could you watch that team the last 2 years as an opposing AD as Renardo Sidney walked up and down the court and say to yourself- "I sure wish we had Rick Stansbury as our coach"
You're not looking at it big picture. You're an AD of a school with horrible basketball tradition. There's a head coach who "retired" and never really had a "bad" season, compared to your school at least. Why do AD's hire football coaches months after they are fired?
