STRICKLIN, CAN WE PLEASE GET THE NEW LOGO PAINTED ON THAT DAMN WATER TOWER???

Edit to add... I do love the pics an what we are doing in the stadium. Just my one irritating thing on this. Seems like repainting that would be obvious and done by now since its such a focal piece of any broadcast...

Let me add my thanks as well.
I never thought I'd get this much enjoyment out of seeing incremental construction progress for a building I don't own.

Here's one of the "grand staircase"...

the MSU site has a couple of this from a different angle. It's going to completely change your perception of the stadium when you approach the west side from the junction.

I'm just happy that the Templeton Troughs are a thing of the past, and the bluehairs don't have to navigate those long portal ramps in rain and ice to get to their seats.

I have an eight year old son. It's one of his favorite movies, so I think I should get a pass for that.

When I was out there on Tuesday after it rained, those guys were going all out. The stadium looked like an ant bed that just got stepped in the way everyone was running around. They had music blaring and people were yelling all over the place.

Sort of off topic but I see the padded chair backs. I ordered chairbacks for my seats for the first time this year mainly for my mom. My question: are those last year's chairbacks and do they leave them there all summer? If you don't order new ones each year, do they leave the old ones there? Seems like they will be filled with water and not great to sit on. Like sitting on a padded toilet seat with a hole in it.

I wondered the same thing. It seemed odd that they leave them there for all off-season. They seem to keep them in good enough shape to keep water from getting inside to the spongy material. The real benefit of the chairbacks, though, is that it establishes a boundary and prevents seat encroachment like when people try to squeeze an extra on your row. Unless you are next to a bigun, I guess.
