Notre Dame argueably has the most national spotlight of any team in college football. Pair that with the schools sound tradition and you easily make an athletes top ten. I dont think its that crazy especially when you consider that high profile athletes such as these dont really give much attention to schools in the MWC, WAC, C-USA, Sub Belt, MAC and the strugling teams in the power conferences (Iowa State, Duke, Syracuse, Vandy, Washington, Washington State ahem MSU, etc)
After you narrow all those down then you really have about 35 teams that are consistantly good with a strong fan base and put out a number of early draft picks.
