James Kenan is going to be a problem for anyone in the east. Deep run last year and word is they are better this year.

I saw them play last year they are tough and had some HITTERS on defense.
A lot more speed this season, but not as much size nor depth. Hopefully we can stay healthy and make another deep run. LET'S GOOOO TIGERS
3A is just a wait and see situation in my opinion. What happens Friday with Mt Airy, Mountain Heritage, Walkertown. Who knows what is the real situation in Shelby.
Right now I would say that it would be very hard to pick anyone other than East Randolph as top dog.

There's no wait and see in 3A, they all suck. Lincolnton, Northeastern, and Shelby are the only half decent teams in that whole glorified JV division.

I included everyone's OWP from NCHSAA RPI page. You can see that some of these teams haven't played anyone with a pulse yet. I'd rather be 3-1 and have a lose against a top tier team VS being 4-0 and having a OWP of 0.08. I haven't checked but I would assume that means all of the teams you have played (so total of 16 games, again assuming they all played 4 each) they are 1-15.

I read where the Brevard at Franklin game that played Thursday night didnāt start until 9:30 pm due to a lightning delay. Heck!ā¦that game ended at midnight.
Brevard pulled it out in OTā¦it was at Franklin too! Those Blue Devils must be somethingā¦.thats a great win.

I am not sure who, besides Mount Airy, is having an open week next week, but Martin was back Friday night, getting over 200 yds rushing, and hopefully the other 5 that has been out will be back for the 1st conference game against cross-town North Surry.
West Stokes only returned a few starters and top athlete got injured first game. He should be back by conference games starting in two weeks. They have some talent but too much inexperience to compete like last year.
I thought this had something to do with the Raptureā¦

Ok ER lost to an undefeated 6A Asheboro team by a touchdown. The teamās other loss was to Union Pines, at their place, and they are 6A as well.
In Asheboro game they turned the ball over on downs at the opponentās 40 yard line with under a minute to play. Donāt think thereās really that much āwrongā with team. Just, as usual, playing above their weight class in nonconferenceā¦
