Just an observation from all these posts on the numbers in both 3A/4A. If we're talking Postseason play here in 3A Lincolnton, Shelby somewhere down the road in the playoffs should make for a good game.
There weren't bad last season. 8-4 Overall went 4-2 in the Mid-State 2A Conference and took a good Salisbury team to the wire twice. Beat Forest Hills who made a deep run, and played Reidsville tough.
I can see them playing too somewhere down the road.
They played West Stokes even just missed extra points. They had weak special teams

Mountain Heritage is going to be solid again. Don't write them off just because their coach retired and the QB graduated. They return 3 of their best players on defense and will still be physical and tough up front.
I am not sure who put this schedule together for North Surry but they should get a great big Milk Shake for putting together one of the weakest prep seasons I have ever seen. Life will certainly change for them October 3, I predict.North Surry High School

Whiteville has a SR QB returning that took them to the semi finals at NE last year, Good core group returning,

I am thinking about it, TD. Not sure if I want to hang around Winston that long after work.
Anyone heard much about those Pilot Mountain boys. Saw a few of them out on the field as I was driving home from work. I wouldn't look past them. NW3a/4a should be fun to watch this year.

East Surry has a great looking football field !
Former West Stokes player Chris Brown has joined the West Stokes staff. He just graduated from Lenoir Rhyne where he played 4 years as a defensive back. Great to have him back.
Mount Airy is @ West Stokes this year, should be a good gate.
at least 3 of us tailgating fans are.
Chris had a really good 4 year run at LR, did himself, West Stokes and LR PROUD.
I enjoy going to West Stokes. Nice facility and the concessions were good. The last two times Mount Airy played there were some good football games too. It's been like 6 or 7 years since the last time they played though.
Let us know how the BEARS look tonight at Mount Tabor. You always tell it as you see it, good and not so good.
