I watch West Iredell scrimmage Hibriten. I didn't focus much on it, because it was only a scrimmage. Couldn't tell you the score. West Iredell look good with their skill players and might have to go bothways with a lack of numbers. Prayers up for the Hibriten RB had to be taken off the field by stretcher. I will predict West Iredell couldl win 4 or 5 games this year.

This was the schedule from last year, and I am not sure of the way it will be this year, but I will myself or someone will post it by Friday.
Last year it began at 4 p.m. with Graham and Grayson County scrimmaging at one end with Galax and Mt. Airy (N.C.) at the other. At 5 p.m. Narrows will face Mt. Airy while Rural Retreat and Floyd County play at the other end.
Some teams may have changed because I see a Va. East Montgomery in the mix this year and my be others.
At 6 p.m. its Graham vs. Mt. Airy along with George Wythe vs. Holston. At 7 p.m., its Narrows vs. Galax and Grayson County vs. Holston. Action begins to wrap up at 8 p.m. with George Wythe vs. Floyd County and Rural Retreat vs. Galax.

Last time I watched them was a couple of years ago could’ve swore there was a different qb
This will be his third year as starter....Lee was QB when you saw them Im betting his senior season
Our QB is a dart thrower and has improved his foot work and foot speed. He has a howitzer hanging on his right shoulder but has improved his touch also.
Actually he played 1 q and 4 mins not all the 2nd Q.
He's going be outstanding this year, but Shelby has like 8 rec that are all legit..
Also 4 great Rb...
Skill players are deep this year..
I'm betting he will have a 700-750 yard game this season, if the coaches let him.
Spoken just like a freshman poster. They ain't letting him. And that line better shore up. Big boys coming up the middle. They will be the team to be at however.
Some good top 5 picks were posted a month ago. After seeing and hearing other posters' responses to scrimmages, would anyone want to make any top 5, 3A, and 4A changes, or do they stay the same?

I doubt any of the teams in their conference have any size compared to South Meck and the line did an excellent job. Like I said, if the coaches allowed, he could have one of those type games.
Beaner24, I watched some of the replay of the scrimmage at West Iredell. I liked the new offense that Coach Mackey has changed to. With no numbers I couldn't identify your son. What position/s will he play this year?
Corner and Slot. He didn't play other night. Recovering from a 7v7 injury. Should be ready for 1st game or 2nd.
South meck. You overselling that ain't you. We ain't playing soccer.
I was comparing size. A poster said shelby will be seeing some big boys and I said i dont think any team in the conference has the size that south meck had.
What above 3A or 4A has the toughest first 4 or 5 non-conference games ? I will start with our 3A Mount Airy & East Surry. This is my rating guess means 5 *****.
