Surprised Cherokee is not even in top 15 programs in WNC,nor top 15 in today's poll that was released on other site

Why just 5 years ago we went winless . We have our ups and downs . Kinda surprised about being left out this years poll as we have several college prospects on the team

Everyone knows it exist, but really don’t see them sending people to this site, nor should they, not sure why everyone thinks it should work in reverse and be OK.

I can see why they would be left off the 10 year. Having only 2 winning seasons in 10 years but their 15 year is pretty impressive. 3 SMC championships, 2 outright and a state championship. Honestly they should of have had 3 consecutive SMC ships from 05-07 if it wasn’t for a 1 point loss in 05. The year they made it to the regional finals. Cannot forget their remarkable regional final run in 02 I believe? They can down to the Ville and trounced us after we dominated them in regular season and lost to eventual state champs Swain.

Regional final year was in 01 The 02 team was win we barely lost to Hayesville I think in 3rd round and started Elkins run at state

Oh I agree with 15 years but it said 10 years . We had a rough stretch for a few years
