Hard job in a good and already improving league. Three of the Wilmington schools are solid and the three brunswick county schools have all had success in the last three years. Most years Topsails talent will be middle or towards the bottom due to demographics. Facilities are average compared to its competitors.

The way that area is growing, there will be a big influz of kids in the next few years. A coach that would be committed to the long haul could build a good program there.

Job is not listed on Deana's list either being opened or being filled. I never saw any announcement in any media (not that there wasnt one, only that I didnt see it). Was listed on the association's website though.

Based on previous posts from over a month ago a decision was made, then supposed to go to the board yet still no announcement?

I dont know. Something about this is fishy if you ask me. Why drag it out if its so cut and dry and possibly someone already there on staff? Or is that not the case at all?

I listed it but was told by a college staff member this week that Wayne Inman was still the football coach, so I removed the school.

Any clarity would be appreciated?

It was posted as an opening and I know someone that applied and was thanked by the AD for applying but the choice was made.
