I'm glad that you didn't have any major problems, Sled. Do you have to wear those funky looking sunglasses?

eye is patched today...appt at 730 tomorrow to take it off and go from there....my normal lenses were the Progressive type that get dark when you go outside and they are putting one of those in my right glasses lens so it remains to be seen (pun intended) if I will need those ugly assed sunglasses....real pain in the *** today cause my glasses wont fit over the patch so Im' basically blind.... if it wasn't for this huge computer screen I'd be going crazy...again thanks for asking and showing concern...I do appreciate it

Was your vision corrected during the procedure, too? When their cataracts were treated, my parents were given the choice as to correcting their vision to see better up close or far away. I wear contact lenses, but have to wear readers to see well up close, and do not know whether I'd rather see better up close or far away. Tough choice, IMO.

I got the full tilt surgery with the idea of not having to wear glasses eventually after I get my other eye done.....I have bifocals so i don't know how that will work....I wore contacts in the 60's and 70's until I took a softball in the face...never could wear them after that......you wear the soft kind that you leave in?.....I've been told I might end up with readers also but that's ok,,,it will be fun to be able to see a golf ball more than 50 yards away though

I wear soft lenses, but have to take them out before I go to bed. An astigmatism is my primary problem. You should be able to see better than you have in many years after you have undergone the second procedure. You'll be glad that you went ahead with the surgeries when you're golfing in the Spring.
