I wouldn't be so sure. 9 days ago, no one had any reason to think Lebby's seat was even warm. It sucked that we blew the game to Tennessee, but that one wasn't as squarely on Lebby as the most recent 2.Prepare to be disappointed, he’s not firing Lebby. His boy.
As recently as 2 days ago, he still generally had support. It wasn't until he lost back to back games solely due to his own incompetence that any inkling of momentum toward a change got going. If we continue losing, especially if it's because the players were good enough to win but we Lebbyed it up, we may suddenly see a clear path to making a change. Lebby desperately needs a win this Saturday to lock down his job for 2026, although at this rate, even if he does get that win and does come back next year, it's hard to see a world where we don't end up firing him at some point in the 2020s.
