Supposedly Favre telling people is bringing 2 players with him to PRCC. This comes from a guy who is good friends with Favre. He didn't know the players names, but this could add some weight to the Morrow rumor. Could be complete BS, but I thought I would post since rumors are encouraged.

So longquitters. If you can't hack it and hang with the big boys you can carry your *** to footballpurgatory.<div>
</div><div>My gut tells me this is "Mini Thug Life" telling people this **** to validate his departure.</div><div>If Morrow leaves all that tells me is that he wasn't going to play next year anyway. You redshirt one year and that upsets you bad enough that you transfer? Please. You and your ego can go underachieve somewhere else.</div>

I'm not saying Morrow is going to be in Starkville for the next 4 years, but why in sam **** would he leave? He and staff know he will be a huge asset for the team next year. Leave the SEC for a JUCO? Really?

My theory is you almost never get worse when someone leaves. You're usually losing either a cancer or an unproductive player or both.

Some may have academic and/or suspension issues like Favre + know their place on the depth chart and want to move on - or maybe they just don't like it at MSU, don't get along with the coach etc.

As long as its nto Morrow I'm not too worried. One name that pops into mind might be Robert Johnson - I have high hopes for him, but he seemed to be Favre's favorite target.

Little man's favorite target in highschool. Was a walk on WR who is also playing baseball. Not sure if he's still oneither football team or not.

Robert Johnson also makes sense. A lot of people who watched practices felt he deserved more playing time.

I mean really, here is a 5'10 QB who BEGS for a scholarship from an SEC school, so you give him one and spend 2 years of development on him AND give him a pretty fair number of snaps in his RS FR season (especially given he had 2 older QBs in front of him) and yet here he is bailing out on the program because he wasn't the heir apparent annointed one. Makes me appreciate the patience of TR all the more who probably got less snaps as a RS Fr than Favre did. In hind sight would have been better to have spent the time that we spent on Favre on someone who would have stuck with the program rather than a guy with an ego that far outweighs his talent that wasn't going to stay around if he couldn't start by the time he was a Sophomore.

I don't think you'd have been any better if a lot of those guys had stayed. They would have caused more problems than they would have been worth. There are always exceptions to the rule, but which players have left you and then gone on to do anything somewhere else?

bigdifference. We know from personal experience how toxic transfers go, look at the end of JWS's years and the first couple of Crooms. That's where you are as program now.

If we hadn't, we might have gotten Coty Blanchard. And I'm so glad Coty went to Jacksonville State.

Chronicles from the Favre Era

Favre: "What's a brother got 2 do to get a shot?"

Mullen: "See over the offensive line."

Favre: "Roll me out, *****. I got some skillz!"

Mullen: "OK. Relf is pretty banged up and I don't want to burn Dak's redshirt, so we'll get you a few snaps."

Favre: "That's fine, Danny. Its all I will need to win the starting job for schizzle."

Mullen: "Ok."

______________________________________________________________________________________

Favre: "Hey Danny, did you see that play I made!"

Mullen: "Yeah. It was a pretty good spiral until the second bounce."

Favre: "Whatever, dude. The line needs to block better. They messed up my karma."

Mullen: "Dylan, you know this isn't basketball. Its not necessary to dribble the ball after you receive the snap."

Favre: " I did that to throw off the defense to make them think I didn't know what I was doing."

Mullen: "Well, it worked."

Favre: "Exactly homey."

Mullen: "Well, at least on your next pass, you hit the defender right between the numbers."

Favre: "I bet I left a bruise on his chest. I got me some mad skillz."

________________________________________________________________________________________

Favre: "Hey Danny, did you see me flatten that guy on my TD run?"

Mullen: "You mean the 4rd string walk-on wearing 2 knee braces? Yeah, that was impressive."

Favre: " I know man. I am awesome. Just like my uncle. Its in our blood."

Mullen: "Weren't you adopted?"

Favre: "Whatever man, he taught me everything I know."

Mullen: "I understand, but can you please stop texting pictures of your little favre to my wife."

Favre: "Heh. Heh. Gulf coast gangsta in da houze."

____________________________________________________________________________

Favre: "Hey Danny, did you see my hot new blonde girlfriend? She da bomb aint she?"

Mullen: "You mean the girl from the volleyball team that was trimming your eyebrow? Yeah, she is pretty and tall. Must be great to have someone who can reach the top shelf at Wal-Mart for you."

Favre: "Huh? My posse does my shopping."

Mullen: "That's what I said."

Favre: " Oh no you di...nt!"

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Favre: " Danny, I don't know if you saw my pic on the front page of the Clarion Ledger, but I'm taking my skillz to a team that understands and needs me. Pearl River will be the next national powerhouse. Bank on it. You should put us on your schedule, Dog."

Mullen: " Pearl River is a community college. We can't schedule them."

Favre: " Whatever, chicken."

Mullen: "What?"

Favre: "Bwok. Bwok. Oh yeah, I'm taking 2 guys with me. Both Marcus Green and Vick Ballard will help me showcase my skillz."

Mullen: "That's interesting. Neither one has eligibility left."

Favre: " Oh, shnap!"

Because I read here how he was an awful human and this was more evidence of Bear payouts not covering up for the players hatred of the 17n PLANTASHUN!!!!<div>
</div><div>It wasn't because he looked around and saw two true freshmen and one RS freshman starting in front of him. It was the toxicness. And the confederates!</div><div>
</div><div>Now when Favre wants to transfer, totally different. Too much talent at State for him to compete. Can't blame him, right? Thanks for the truth.</div>

on police reports - Tobias Singleton's name was Tobias Manning. He's Archie's nephew.

No shot in hell Robert Johnson is transferring anywhere. He would have gotten way more PT this year, but he is struggling learning the playbook. He'll be an animal eventually.

And no, a player arrested for a highlypublicizeddomestic dispute as a high school student, who has been widely rumored to have attitude issues, who apparently didn't go to class, whoapparentlywalked out of practice multiple times isn't toxic at all.<div>
</div><div>Your team is a toxic as they come right now and has been for a while. Wake up simpleton.</div><div>
</div><div>And yes we have to much talent for a 5'9 future JUCO AA to play.</div><div>
</div><div>And your welcome for the truth, rub it in you could use some.</div>

Two entirely different situations. Because you read on a state board that a freshman WR at Ole Miss didn't go to class and walked out of practice multiple times. Nevermind that you have zero evidence to back any of that up, and that you're quite possibly confusing the Brassel academic rumors with Singleton (because I've never heard of any grade issues for the latter). Also, Dylan Favre is a shining example of the right attitude, so I'm glad you pointed that difference out.<div>
</div><div>Wasn't there like a 3 page thread on here the other day about the TSUN Bearz having a double standard for Freeze and Mullen's barbs in the media? Do you honestly not see that you're doing the exact same thing with Favre and Singleton. The difference, of course being, that Singleton stayed and worked and earned a spot as the starting kick returner and is still on the team, and Favre is leaving despite getting ample playing time for a true frosh.</div><div>
</div><div>But Favre left for PT, and Singleton "left" in the sense that leaving = two days of SPS circle jerks about him leaving, and that was due to "toxicity"of the program. 10-4.</div><div>
</div><div>

(1) I read most of the Singleton bashing on Rebel sites. It was discussed here also but originated from your fan base.<div>(2) This is the internet, I don't need evidence. Smoke = firethat'swhy people read message boards don't kid yourself almighty one.</div><div>(3) Farve stayed the length of the year and as you pointed out got ample playing time. Singleton was no where to be found until the season was in the tank and every Freshman from him to CJ got to play.</div><div>(4) 2-10</div><div>
</div><div>Seriously, is this debate really about who's program is more toxic right now?</div><div>
</div><div>Look, I know it sucks to be gum on everyone else in the SEC's shoe right now but at least keep your world in perspective.

Well done, sir. Well done. Now how about we stop being whiny little bitches about Favre transferring? Jesus, you'd think that he's actually hurting us somehow by leaving. If a player feels like they can get more PT somewhere else, more power to them. Good luck to Favre at PRCC, and at the next stop he has after that (South Alabama, SE Louisiana, Jacksonville State?). The funny thing is, he'll still have a chance to beat Ole Miss wherever he goes.
