I apologize as I was no means trying to compare the two cities of Hampton and Salem. Socioeconomics expand a little more than income/poverty itself. For example, Richmond’s median income is much much higher than Hampton and Salem (56k household, 44k single in RVA) but Salem fans are still traveling better than Varina, Highland Springs, HELL Salem fans are outpacking the stands on the very wealthy West End schools like Freeman, Deep Run, and Godwin. Two of the biggest reasons I brought up socioeconomics is Salem, Virginia has the best community support and some of the better community resources in the state. Love them or hate them, always have to respect them and their great program.

People will buy what they want and beg for what they need. 50$ in gas round trip from Hampton to Lynchburg.

I’ll tell you this a lot of Phoebus family and fans simply can’t afford to make the day trip to Lynchburg.

Before this whole convo goes anymore left…let me help people understand when I say afford it’s bigger than money. Sometimes it’s simply about time. Not everyone can take off work, rearrange their schedules, or dedicate an entire day.
