Did anyone throw anything at him? You know, not that I'm condoning that type of behavior. I mean, not like snowballs with batteries inside or anything. But like a tub of popcorn, some of which ended up stuck in his hair, would be pretty funny.

Did he say to anyone who would stand next to him for a few seconds, “It is not my fault”?

Traitor trev he needs not to come back
He is an Iowa kid. We get what we deserve hiring an Iowegian as AD. But he has also burned bridges at every job he has taken, we've all worked with bosses who do things to get noticed, pick up pet projects that piss people off but create a lot of buzz, and then they use that to get promoted. He created drama at ESPN, is the only UNO AD that anyone has ever heard of, and not for good reason, he did very little at NU, but used the volleyball program that was already set up to create a global sensation when the game happened at memorial stadium. So good for him for promoting himself but his time at A@M won't end well for sure.

bill burn went to a&m I think and I don't remember folks having a problem with it
I don’t have a problem with Alberts take the A&M job either. In fact, I’m glad he’s gone. But on his way out the door he made a lot of vague statements and accusations designed to make it sound like he really wanted to stay - which was horse s***. Just take the big payday and move on.

And yesterday I found it hilarious that his entourage made it a point to share all these “private moments” with people who surely miss him terribly! Trev never misses an opportunity to make it all about him.

I think that had alot to do with Steve Pederson seemingly being such a natural selection to replace Byrne. Pederson replacing Bryne might rival Frost succeeding Riley in terms of what everyone thought, at the time, was a no brainer. He was a Nebraska native and TO protege, while Byrne was an outsider. Pederson was going to come home and get the program winning national championships again. Except we all know how that turned out.

Had some friends that knew him in college and they couldn’t stand Pederson, said he was arrogant dick head.

I never met him, but knew his parents and a couple of his brothers who were all good people. I always felt for the family given how his stint as AD went. Living in NE, their lives had to be impacted given how SP's legacy with the program turned out

You might want to take the time and read Troy Dannen's biography.😆

Hey I am all for making money and Trev has the right to choose where he works. That doesn’t preclude me from thinking he is a douche.
He got the job at NU only because he played football for NU...he used the goodwill of his alma mater to promote himself to another school without doing anything at NU. BB at least helped build something, Trev was just using the school as a stepping stone. It is his right but he doesn't have to be celebrated, especially in a sport where people often return to their alma mater's to try to give back...I mean heck, Harbaugh won 9-10 games his first four years and still took a salary cut and contract stipulations to help Michigan win a title, Trev is a psychopath for not having even a shred of sentimentality for NU. Trev bullshitted about wanting to make NU great again because of his loyalty and love for the university and jumped at a bigger salary without a doing anything. So what if the politics and conditions weren't perfect, that is why he got hired...his love and loyalty would make him more willing to stick with the job.
