Trivia question: when was the last time we had 7 wins by Halloween?

And a big middle finger to Larry Templeton. He's the primary reason its been so difficult to get to 7 wins by Halloween. Texas (even though we handled them), Oklahoma State, Oregon, West Virginia, BYU, Georgia Tech - really Larry?

Way back, even in the famous 1940 season, the schedule didn't have enough games to get 7 by Halloween.

Regardless, 2010 is the 2nd time MSU has ever had 7 wins by Halloween.
