Terrible. Shouldn’t happen at all. But if it does, if you don’t pay at least $10k in net federal income tax, you shouldn’t sniff a dime of stimulus.

You sound like the guy on here yesterday making excuses for Trump when Trump/Patel/Bondi/Blanche summoned Lauren Boebert into the damn Situation Room to pressure her to not sign the petition to release the Epstein Files. He kept saying he had no opinion on it because he wasn't in the room so he didn't know what was being said
.Everyone in the world with a brain knows what was being said in that room. If we're only allowed to comment on topics where we have direct involvement with the highest levels of politics, then this forum wouldn't need to exist.
I'm pretty sure Trump doesn't discuss his motives and missives with you personally, but that doesn't stop you from defending his actions 99.9999% of the time despite claiming to not be MAGA.
You are permitted to apply common sense and the smell test to some of these matters.
Trump is a bombastic narcissist. This is an attempt to buy votes but it's irresponsible. We still have a nearly $2 trillion deficit. Pay it down.
I don't think we have persistent inflation. If tariffs are 15% and all of that is passed onto consumers (it isn't) we would have one time inflation. But next year it has zero year over year impact.
