Maybe Trump can use some of the lessons learned from our Civil War to help bring peace to the Israel/Palestinian conflict. or maybe Trump is about to get another history lesson from yet another foreign leader. [eyeroll]

"I want to see peace with Israel and the Palestinians," he told Reuters in an interview last week. "There is no reason there's not peace between Israel and the Palestinians — none whatsoever."

No matter what is said publicly, I don't think this meeting will go nearly as pro-Palestinian as previous ones.

The pattern seems to be that after a conversation with any world leader, they convert the great negotiator to their way of thought after they educate him. It seems the whole world is more informed and aware of history than our president. What an embarrassment. (who knew N. Korea was so complicated....who knew healthcare was so complicated....torture is good....no it's bad.....

Some of you are really obsessed with President Trump - maybe you should get help?

Clearly you have no defense for what's been said ... much easier to just call people obsessed .... for talking about the president ... on a predominantly political message board ... only obsessed people would discuss the president on a political message board after all.

That sounds like a great idea as that would surely be some good reading but what are you trying to say? as if it makes any difference...so how about you, can you think of any reason why there's not peace between the Palestinians and Israel?

Because Abraham didn't trust God enough to give him an heir so he went out and tried to do it for himself.

Absolutely true. And in educating him, he reverses direction on some bold campaign promise.

Remember after his meeting with Obama he said Obama was a great guy and that there were parts of Obamacare that he would advocate? Then when the next person he sat down with, that all changed. It seems the person who gets to him last has the most influence. But he's a great negotiator. So great, in fact, he can't get anything passed despite have both houses of congress.
