and placing my son in CJ's place, I see a couple of reason why just the parents would go. The first one I will not discuss, and the second is to let Mullen know he wont be coming.

I just don't see that. That could be done with a phone call. I thought I saw where his dad has never actually been to State. They are probably all watching the Super Bowl on Dawgzillatron from a suite at DWS.

I doubt they would just show up in Starkville unannounced. Whoever they were coming to see, presumably Dan, would know they were coming and would probably already know before they got to campus if their son was or was not going to be at MSU. If he wasn't coming, Dan could just choose not see them.

Well, the thing is, if they are there to deliver bad news, that shouldnt take too long. Now if they are there well into the night.....

If they are, it could be good news and they're enjoying the SB with Dan. It's been 2 hours since they got there. If they left within a couple of minutes, it could mean he's not a Dawg.
