And from reports he's performed pretty well. He'll remain a 3rd option at QB if Brunetti and Wallace are injured.

Last I heard was he had missed most of spring practice with an injury and Freeze isn't even mentioning him when he talks about QBs. Probably doensn't matter since I think it's clear that Wallace and Brunetti are really the only 2 guys that are looking to get playing time at QB.

But I wouldn't count on him factoring into the QB race. He had some sort of back injury. The two guys are Brunetti and Wallace for sure. Supposedly Maikhail Miller was pretty impressive at the beginning of spring but he's in no way ready for the starting role.
