This really needs to be resolved. If it happened, let's see the proof. If it's BS, GOP needs to deal with him.

My tech was talking about that at lunch. Something about 16 foreign nations having NSA file access and the whole thing was done by one of them without US getting involved or leaving a trace. He said it's all over Fox.

Oh you need to follow along closer, this is Maddow worthy.

  1. NSA records every phone call
  2. US Intel can't look at without a court order/president approval
  3. If Obama had ordered it there would be a trail, so...
  4. GHCQ(?) can look at it too, Obama asked them to pull out the Trump calls
  5. Info was disseminated among US intel after Brits helped Obama out.
on the other hand...

Mr. Obama’s statement: "A cardinal rule of the Obama Administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice. As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false."

This is a very carefully worded statement, that doesn't say he wasn't surveilled.

Best of luck. I mean it's pretty clear Trump was 1000% wrong with his tweets that morning. Maybe Breitbart isn't the best place for POTUS to get intel?

My guess is Trump read some old article and ran with it in his Tweets.

Regardless of his tweet. The NSA program is real, it is of concern.

Based on his quick tweet citing Gregg Phillips claim of 3 million fraudulent voters, it's pretty obvious Biff has zero vetting of his sources. So Breitbart is the perfect place for Biff to get his intel because source credibility is something he controls rather than being based on facts.

I'm not sure why the program is a concern? I'm glad they have those capabilities, just like I'm glad the CIA as the abilities RuskieLeaks released last week, just as I'm glad my police officers carry guns.

Edit: And it was clearly the Breitbart article from that week that lead to his tweets.
