Tupelo 96.3, Please bring back Mike and Mike

I like local sports shows in general, but, I just can't handle CHo. What are your thoughts on local shows in your area?

All I know is that I was ticked when 103.1 changed from ESPN to CBS Sports

I was a big Mike and Mike, and SVP guy. That CBS crap isn't even tolerable.

I turned Sirius back on in my car 2 weeks ago....

I toughed it out a couple of months, but the morning show on 96.3 is dreadful. You never know how boring local sports is until you have to listen to somebody talk about it.

I much prefer the local show over Mike & Mike (or any other ESPN show). I'm just burnt out on everything ESPN.

The dirty little secret is that sports radio is struggling all over the country and stations are dropping shows;changing formats or eleminating it all together. It's a limited audience. Mostly young males. Gonna be more changes in the future.

When did they change? I know I have listened to them this week. I think! Greeny spends more time talking about what's in the segment after the break than actually talking about the current topic.

I think you're right. Heard the other day that there's no longer an ESPN radio station in Huntsville. I never listened to it anyway. Could be that Tupelo suffered the same fate.
