If Salem can complete some passes they can win. They have tall receivers and can cause some issues. If they don't Tuscarora can load the box.

Anyone heard whether attendance restrictions will still be in place and whether this is a Saturday or Friday night game?

Attendance restrictions don't appear to have changed for this week. (I think the governor usually does a conference on Tuesday so maybe he will chang things. More than likely there will be changes for next week since it will be May 1st) The games are scheduled for Sat afternoon, but I guess some games could move to Fr night because rain is forecast for Sat locally.

Rain here in the afternoon too but would VHSL allow that day change? I heard Northam's conference , it was Monday and NO change to the 500 cap. Teams get 250 each thru access code with no limits for players and cheer. Any unclaimed tickets go on Sale to the general public on Thursday. Those long time fans like me will be a long shot to get a ticket. Watched nearly all Lafayette games since 1997 but I’m on the outside looking in so far. A change for May 1? Maybe.

I do see the Galax @ Holston game is listed as Fri night. That's the only one I see on Friday of all the games. I suppose it's possible to request a change from the VHSL.

I believe the host team chooses when the game is played.

Lafayette is always mentally tough. One of the best programs in VA. Living in the 804 has taught me that the best of the 804 and 757 are always ahead of everyone else. Lafayette is just about always in that conversation.

We lost a home game due to rain/natural grass, and moved it away to artificial turf and ended up playing in monsoon downpour.
