Clearly their 2 losses are much worse than Georgia's.<div>And with that in mind, how can 10-2 Georgia be ranked ahead of the 2 teams it lost to, when those 2 teams have equal or better records? Why overrule results proven on the field?</div><div>

Who else would play in the game -- Oklahoma St? The best 2 teams should play. History has shown us that the polls will make that happen, like when LSU got in with 2 losses a few years ago. They deserved to go, and the voters made it happen. A little less complicated this year, but the result is the same and correct.

I really like how you have Arkansas #3, when they're probably more like 7 to 9.
You also have UGA ranked ahead of both the teams they lost to this season (Boise & South Carolina).

and 9th in the SEC. Weak argument on your part really, as defense is the only thing keeping Arkansas from being a top 5 team. I actually think Ok. St. would beat Arkansas (although I agree that Arkansas should be a top 10 team; not many other teams would beat them).

If Oklahoma State loses, then you have no choice but to choose Alabama. If Oklahoma State wins tonight, thus winning the Big 12, with the same record as Alabama, and arguably a harder schedule.......well, it'd be a travesty for Alabama to go to the Championship Game. I'd almost vote in Virginia Tech over Alabama, if they win tonight and Okie St. loses.<div>
</div><div>The BCS was SUPPOSED to be formatted to give a clear champion, which is usually does (2007 almost crossed the line). If LSU wins out, no matter who they play, it's done its job. The bowl system is created on the very notion that the entire season is a playoff. That means Alabama is DONE, given another SEC team is ahead of them. That's how it works. If Alabama doesn't like it, don't play in the SEC. I mean, ****, we have to hear it all the time, but when this sort of premise applies to Alabama or similar, suddenly it's a bad thing. I mean, #*!# them, who are they to buck the system?</div>

In general, I'm not an Alabama fan since I live in the state and am constantly subjected to the hype. And a rematch could be construed as not being fair to LSU.<div>
</div><div>But ... that's the way it's turning out, and the NC game is supposed to be between the top two teams, and the top two are LSU and Alabama. LSU can't play themselves.</div><div>
</div><div>If Alabama wins, perhaps they should play another game ... best 2 our of 3. :)</div><div>

so no, don't feed me that crap about you being for sure that Alabama is better than Oklahoma State or Virginia Tech. And you probably won't know because too many idiots (with opinions like yours) get to vote for this thing.<div>
</div><div>This is not a tournament or conference championship. You're not supposed to get rematches. Well, I take that back, it is a tournament. Alabama got eliminated (in my mind) on Nov. 5. As long as LSU stays unbeaten, you shouldn't get a shot.</div><div>
</div><div>Sorry, pal, but you're not changing my mind. I'm sorry that it hurts your feelings that I don't view Alabama above God.</div>

A bigger payout for SEC teams.

Auburn and Oregon got $21 million each last year.

If Bama and LSU were to play in the national championship, the SEC would be splitting about $42.4 million.

I believe a team that barely lost to the #1 team in football is more deserving than a team that blew a (near) 3 TD lead versus a horrible, unranked team... you don't.... we'll leave it at that...<div>

If you really agree to disagree, then do it and quit running your mouth. Since you didn't, let's break it down.<div>
</div><div>Oklahoma State did blow a lead, on the road, to a bowl bound 6-5 Iowa State team (who's beating Kansas State right now). A team that had zero bad losses. Assuming they win tonight, Oklahoma State's body of work rivals Alabama's.</div><div>
</div><div>Virginia Tech's only loss was to a darkhorse national title contender. They may avenge that tonight in a game where a rematch is tolerated: conference championships. </div><div>
</div><div>The ONLY way Alabama CLEARLY deserves a second shot is if Oklahoma State and Virginia Tech get beat. They have an argument if Oklahoma State gets beat only. But if Oklahoma State wins, they deserve it more than your boys do. Saban said it himself in 2003.</div>

Prove that Alabama is better than Oklahoma State (all assuming OSU beats OU tonight). I never said they were better than LSU, but alas, I don't really know that for sure either. Do they have one single similar opponent? Texas A&M. That's a stretch to go from Oklahoma State to Texas A&M to Arkansas to Alabama/LSU.<div>
</div><div>You do realize there's a reason I don't include Oregon or Stanford in this, right? It's because LSU thumped Oregon, who won the Pac-12 title. There's proof, even to a guy like you.
<div>
</div><div>Shouldn't be about what some dumb sidewalk Alabama fan thinks. It's about what's fair to the teams involved.</div><div>
</div><div>And don't think your bunch is the first to benefit. In 2001 when Nebraska went over Oregon, that was just as much of a joke as this is going to be. Good thing for everyone (except you gumps), is that LSU will probably win it all no matter the team they play.</div><div>
</div><div>You're done, pal. Now go do your pseudo-muslim prayer time to the Saban statue.</div> </div>

I think KSU and Baylor would do just fine against these guys. I'm not even going to talk about the North Texas/Kent State/Georgia State games because you would lose the argument against OSU's sacrificial lambs... well maybe not Kansas

2011 Oklahoma State Football Schedule

Date Opponent Location Worth Noting

Sept. 3 Louisiana Stillwater Cowboys were 54-28 winners last year after trailing at halftime

Sept. 8 Arizona Stillwater Arizona visits Stillwater for first time since 1941.

Sept. 17 Tulsa Tulsa OSU last played at TU in 2000.

Oct. 1 Open

Oct. 8 Kansas Stillwater Series dates back to 1923

Oct. 15 Texas Austin Cowboys try to make it two straight in Austin

Oct. 22 Missouri Columbia OSU defeated No. 3 Missouri on last visit to Columbia

Oct. 29 Baylor Stillwater Bears are 2011 Homecoming opponent

Nov. 5 Kansas State Stillwater OSU tries to win 3 straight over KSU for first time since 1987-88-89

Nov. 12 Texas Tech Lubbock OSU looks for fourth win in last five meetings

Nov. 18 Iowa State Ames OSU plays first Friday night conference game

Nov. 26 Open

Dec. 3 Oklahoma Stillwater OSU hosts Bedlam for a second straight year

See, when you actually put them on the same page it really starts to show a difference. Yeah, OSU hasn't played LSU or Arkansas, but I still think they have more quality wins than Bammer.

Don't worry though TUSK... the media loves to suck the crimson cod so you guys will get another chance to lose to LSU. Truth is, I think OSU loses to LSU as well, but it would be much more deserving and fun that a rematch.
