I liked the one in Madison before it closed.

Is Starkville big enough for BWW and Beef's?

The Germans weren't official.

Besides the sign at the movie theater saying "Beef O Brady's coming soon" since summer . I hope it works out solely because a former Bulldog owns the franchise. That said, and no offense Flab, but their food is terrible all frozen pre packaged. If you want cheese sticks and a draft beer, by all means...

They suck. It is truly an awful place to eat. Sorry to hear that a Bulldog is involved. Wait six months after one opens and there will be a for sale sign in front.

Good thing I opened this thread rather than just reading the headlines. I thought the twitter was suggesting the Beef O'Brady's Bowl would be moving to Starkville.** Expanded Stadium and such.......

Best of luck to him and his BOB franchise, but BWW will be very hard to compete against! Bww is one of the most successful chains of its type in the country. But it's great for Starkville and MSU! Best regards.

Well ****...

I thought you were going to say the Beef O Brady's Bowl was coming to watch us this weekend to see if they wanted us. Thank goodness I clicked, that would have been upsetting.

and yes, their food is horrid.

How is Rosy Baby's still live? I was taken there once. Would never go by choice. It was the worst restaurant I've ever been in and nothing else even comes close.

I could make better foot in 10 minutes with miscellaneous stuff my my freezer.

The Beef O'Brady's in Madison (which didn't last long) was probably the worst restaurant I've ever been to, for what it's worth.

The guy that owns Rosy Baby's also owns Brewski's and Coconuts so I would think Rosy Baby's gets subsidized occasionally.

Rosy Baby's is a god awful place. I went there once ironically with some of my friends to get some $1 Pabst (hey, I'm a broke college kid) and it took about an hour to get 2 of them. Trust me, I would have left earlier had I been able to find someone to give me my check. The bartender took my order one time and just walked from behind the bar and I guess went on break. Returned 20 minutes later. I had to wait another 15 minutes to sign my receipt because they didn't have any pens. I had to sign it with a dry erase marker.

It sucks because it has potential. It's actually a cool venue and has a cool bar, but the servers, management, and food will keep me from ever visiting again.

I concur

with this. Rosy Baby's is by far the worst place to eat in the world. Their food is terrible. Their servers are terrible. Their management is terrible. Their owners are terrible. I cannot think of one good thing to say about this place. How it has stayed in business for as long as it has is probably the 8th wonder of the world.

When I went to Beef's, he was new and handn't been open long.

I've own a restaurant before. One thing I learned and I've since seen repeatedly is that when a new restaurant opens, the food is usually great for the first while. Then the owner figures out they need to start making money and it goes to crap.

Do they still hand out a free pitcher for every 3ptr MSU makes? That **** was fantastic back in the 03-04 era. With Frazier, Bowers, and Power- lots o free pitchers. That place was packed for every televised game(away games, at least), you needed reservations and all.

Cant say i remember the food, or even if i ate there in all the times we went for away games.

Just to clarify, you just outlined what a ****** restaurant does and what a ****** restaurant owner does. No good operator does that. The problem is that every swinging dick thinks they can open a restaurant because they are a good cook at home or b/c they think they know good food from eating out. I will agree with you that Beef's was probably best right at first but best in the sense of bronze medal at the special olympics best

Yeah all the gas stations are what keep rosy baby's afloat. I think they still give free beers with 3 pointers, other than that offer service but decent food

Chicken fried steak is good and cheap.....

Tuesdays I believe. It was never crowded in there and I never had problems with service. I really don't care about service when they are doing nothing but bringing me draft beer and bar food.

It has its moments where its potential shows, though (mainly during crawfish season). But yeah, it has a cool atmosphere with a great beer selection, it just has horrible service. They also seem to be out of gumbo every damn time I go.

How's the Starkville BWW doing? I'm not a picky guy when it comes to eating out, but for the life of me, I've never understood how those places have done so well. Average(at best) food, loud atmosphere, and pretty much not existent drink specials. Just don't get it
