As if we needed Auburn to do any more chest thumping. Ah well... I guess I'll settle for hoping they fail at everything they do from here on out.<div>

and will be as long as Slive is around. Nothing to see here, move along.

Not so fast on the cheating. Certain schools will get away with cheating. Let us get caught and Mike will show no favors.

Slive came in with his primary mantra being to keep ALL SEC schools off probation and I'm convinced he intends to do that. He doesn't care what SEC schools are doing just that everybody play nice together and keep their mouth shut. That's why he got so pissed at us for airing out the Cam Newton stuff and thinking that we had gone around the SEC office to report it to the NCAA. I'm convinced that if we had wanted we could have paid the $180,000 and gotten away with it. Not saying we should have but that we certainly could have.

His standoff with the NCAA representative was surprising to his peers, but he knew how well the money tracks were covered, I guess.

There was no way they could find them guilty after all of the public support and the "no problems" approach to things by the Pres of the NCAA and the SEC commish last year.

on Feinbaum in two weeks**

Seriously wasn't Sherridan staking his job/reputation on the outcome of this case? Someone needs to call him out...

Sheridan was so blatantly covering every possibility. "The NCAA thinks they know who the bagman was, and if the bagman comes forward then they will nail Auburn, but if he refuses to talk then Auburn will get off".

All he ever staked his reputation on was the claim that the NCAA thought they knew who the bagman was. Well, that will never be proven one way or the other.

Pub hound. But they damn near all are.

One thing that won't change is a major majority of State fans (and others) think they cheated and always will. And now the Auburn fans not only get to gloat on the results of the season but feel vindicated in everything. I have a feeling the hate towards Auburn from MSU fans won't cease anytime soon.

I used to think they were ok too. But after experiencing many of their fans reactions firsthand, i'll never pull for them again. Including the Bama game.

no AU fans are cheering for you pitiful losers either. I actually still try really hard to do it..but you guys sure don't make it easy. I'm sure you will all cuss me and tell me you don't care, but it's this whiny bitchy stuff you guys are doing that makes it really sad to me. AU and MSU have more to like each other about than hate each other for. Everyone used to know that. Seems like in the world today, everyone would rather hate and ***** and moan than anything else. It's very sad.

Then I went to your message boards several years back and found that you pricks were no different than your big brother in Tuscaloosa. <div>
</div><div>Congratulations, you got away with it. Now get the 17 off our board.</div>

they made the absolutely ridiculous declaration at that time that there was definitely wrong doing by his father and kenny rodgers, but that Cam or Auburn new nothing of it. That was and is total horse crap----the NCAA knew it then, and you know that they know it now. There is know way that they can go back on that now after they let Auburn win the NC with someone that they knew should be ineligible.

It is also hilarious to me how the ncaa now sounds like they operate like our country's legal system citing "Any allegations of major rules violations must meet a burden of proof, which is a higher standard than rampant public speculation online and in the media,"-------------------ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME???????? How many times have you seen the NCAA cite in so many wordsthat they are a private organization, and that they do not play by the rules of our justice system when determining guilt or innocent or guilt. It is a fact that Cecil solicited money for Cam to play at MSU-----no rational person can believe that Cam knew nothing about it, and most rational people find it hard to believe that Cecil didn't recieve money from Auburn.

I don't really give a rip whether Auburn gets it or not, I just can't believe how much of a joke the NCAA has made of themselves with this------what little credibility existed is long gone.

Congrats... you got away with it. I now hate you pricks worse than I hate Bama... and I used to HATE Alabama. Now, they aren't so bad compared to you 17ers. They don't come trolling over here saying "quit being terrible losers, you know there is more to like about us than hate." At least they can win without keeping a giant payroll, then pointing at little ol' MSU saying we are the ones who offered them money. Enjoy that championship you paid for. Hope it was worth the $200,000 you had to fork up for the bastard. Now, move the 17 on. I hope Bama kicks your *** in November.

It was amazing that 3 of the 4 former players that where on HBO and discussing getting paid to play, suddenly would not talk to the NCAA during the investigation.
