I'm on my phone and can't link it so if someone would help me out that would be great. I've never seen a Msu athletic department employee argue like that over social media. I'm glad he did it though

I wish

we'd stop giving this guy a platform. He's a no-talent, hack that just spews bs. He wants us to get pissed.

I like it. Somebody needs to stand up for Mullen right now. If he's going to be our coach next year (he is), he needs to feel he has actual support behind him and he's not a lame duck in any way.

While it was nice to see someone call that article out as stupid, I'm afraid that Sallee (not sure on spelling) got exactly what he wanted. Pissed people off and had several people click his link. However, the guy certainly has a problem with Mullen for some reason.

That's for fans to do. Not someone in our athletic department. It looked unprofessional as 17 to me. Reminds me of the rants that Galbraith went on.

Is this the same Gregg Ellis who is Mullen's camera shadow? He wouldn't want to bring any undue attention to himself.**

Normally, I would agree with you, and in principal, I do. In this instance, for some reason, I have no problem with it. Maybe it is just my outright hatred for Sallee and Bleacher Report.

Eta: if people would stop linking bleacher report from here, I would NEVER go there. People post links here, though, and my curiosity gets the best of me.

I guess, based on all the hate, he's controlling the wrong message.

Sallee has always had hate toward Mullen for some reason.

And he'd suck Beaver's dick if he'd let him. Reading his ******** opinion pieces, it's obvious where his bread is buttered. 17 him. I'm glad Greg did the Twitter deal today. Screw it.

Somebody with the the no how needs to photo shop Sallee's head on RN's boyfriend in that pic that's been floating around and post it here.

I hope you were just trying to be funny. Ellis was a much better beat writer than Marcello, and he's done a great job as the hoops SID. There's only one no-talent hack in that pairing, and it sure ain't Ellis.

You mean the football SID that follows the coach around like every other school in the country?

I was being funny. But since you couldn't read between the lines, I want to point out that journalist know that the next move is the administration. You don't get that insider access by criticizing the the administration.

It's funny you compared him to Marcemellow. It just wouldn't make the case comparing him to Bonner.

He possible hates Dan because "The Money was too much." My wild guess, because the topic has already been given too much thought...

He is an Auburn homer, and been crapping on Mullen hardcore, since the time the nation became familiar with the words "Cecil Newton."

I have no clue. But, that is when this Auburn/State sub-rivalry seemed to heat up...

Don't forget basketball too.** Just to make things clear, I'm talking about this guy:

I've seen plenty of LSU, Bama, etc. halftime and post-game interviews. But I've never said, "I wonder who that guy is that's always around X". This guy is a photo bomber (for a lack of a better term). That's just one attention starved internet message board self-proclaimed superstar's opinion.**

On a body of work basis, I would take Ellis over Bonner, but I do think Bonner could be one of our best before he leaves for greener pastures in a couple of years.

You guys are really tempting me to visit bleacher report and see the slideshow of why Mullen should be fired... but I must resist. I have about a 2 year "no bleacher report" streak going.

It's really not the job of our Media Relations Director to pick fights w/ the media and call them clueless and dumb for an opinion, that makes us look really bad and unprofessional.

Basically, his job is to cater to the media's every need (much like you would a client of yours) to get as much coverage as possible, not to get in arguments with them
