Reilly's focus on a toss up, and Morgan's move to get to the ball ahead of two defenders in the area. The second one was not an example of TA coming through with a great throw, it was an example of a receiver getting to another ball up for grabs. Kudos to our receiving corps this season.

Horrible decision, that led to a great play at the perfect time. I bet I wasn't the only one going "NO NO NO........... YES"!!!!!

The Stanley Morgan TD was hardly an up for grabs ill advised throw. The two safeties were pursuing to the left and the corner was a yard behind Morgan. The ball was thrown to where only an inside cut like Morgan made, could be done because of the position of the Safeties.

I don't believe that it was "drawn up" that way. I think TA threw into coverage and Morgan Jr found a way to get to it.

It was the WR coming back to find an opening for a scrambling QB under pressure. Great play and hardly drawn up.

You dont think the curl play, a mainstay of passing since passing was invented, was not designed that way? Obviously I disagree with you, its a standard play to let the defense run past you it just so happened it turned into a three stooges and a touchdownbecause the defense overpursued and ran into each other.

He didnt come back to Armstrong. If you watch the play Morgan turned in(not towards Tommy) without looking at the same time Tommy scrambled left. He looked towards Tommy as soon as he curled and Tommy threw. That tells me it was a planned route. It may not have been the planned prime receiver for the play but the route itself was a standard play, it just so happened it was a good pass to play as well.

Tommy scrambled around for several seconds before throwing that pass ... you don't run a designed curl route that takes 5 seconds prior to curling back .. that was sandlot

I don't believe it was a designed play but I do believe Tommy underthrew it on purpose knowing Morgan would make a break to the ball and the defenders wouldn't be able to adjust to the ball (kind of like a back shoulder throw). So yes I believe it was Tommy making a great play as well as Morgan.

Basically if you compare Tommy's TD throw and his 2nd interception throw, they are totally different.

A good percentage of all the "great throws" on Saturdays and Sundays have at least as much to do with great receiver play. And a good percentage of all the "horrible throws" have to do with bad receiver play. It takes two to tango, as they say.
