Two questions about NFL over time?

Does the clock continue to run if the runner goes out of bounds or when it is a incomplete pass?

Clock stops on an incomplete pass. When a runner goes out of bounds, the clock stops momentarily. But it starts again when the play clock starts. Exceptions are less than 2 minutes to go in the 1st half or less than 5 minutes to go in the 2nd half or OT I think.

the saints Tight End went out of bounds and the clock continued to run. I do not know if the Ref missed it but it sure looked like he was out of bounds and the Ref called it out of bounds.

the side judge (?) ruled his progress had stopped in bounds, so the clock continues to run.

Joseph Addai caught a pass from manning and ran straight out of bounds and the clock continued to run... Not sure why
