Some of the open field moves he has are ridiculous. You can't teach that stuff. Think this staff likes little quick dudes who can embarrass you on a PR?

Heck of an athlete and I love those clips of him getting after it blocking. But honestly, I don't see how he is 5-star and JD Speilman was only a 5.7 3-star. But maybe I'm just drinking the Speilman Kool-Aide too much, but I feel like he was a similar talent.

Similar skillset for sure, I don't know how the testing numbers on the two compare and if J.D. is as "sudden" as Lindsey appears to be.

Wondering if the level of competition hurt J.D. on his rating and if he gets more stars if he's out of a different state. I won't claim to be able to look at some film and say, "Oh well this kid is a two star, but that kid is a high four star."

Getting him on campus was a huge accomplishment for the staff.

@wideouts is just plain salty. It's unreal how much of an impact he is making.

P.S. Beav do you have a burner email you'd share so I can chat with you? No problem if not.

I just created that so let me know on here if you send something over. I will probably forget it even exists otherwise.

Is it wrong that I am hoping Williams just wants to be a WR coach for the rest of his life? Because he's killing it and he's gonna become an in-demand guy.

IIRC, he just got a substantial raise. But after this effort, they may have to give him another one. I wonder what his aspirations are, he is clearly very passionate about the WR position, but I wonder if he has his sights on becoming an OC and eventual HC.

He's been a WR Coach for 15 seasons... I think he prefers that role. If he leaves, I believe it will be a for a role in the NFL.

1. Competition was bad
2. Would be better if he was a running back
3. California kids are soft.
4. All we are going to do is throw every play
Did I miss anything? In all seriousness that kid is a stud.

I think the difference is speed, this guys seems to have a lot of different gears, all fast.

Can you imagine this kid in the screen game DL and MR are wanting to get into? He was made for it.
