How do you let a pitcher give up 8 runs in only 1-2/3 innings? And why take him out now? This game's over. No sense in wasting all of our relief pitching in it.</p>

he had no one warming up in the bullpen. That's on Polk.

He puts our team in a situation where he either has to go with a tired pitcher or a pitcher that is not loose.

Every pitcher has to know his role before the game starts from the starter to the closer. When the long reliever sees our starter getting shelled, he has to start at least stretching. When I go to the games, it usually takes quite awhile for Polk to send anyone down there.
