Not a bad idea IMO. As long as everyone stays healthy he should be able to redshirt. Good special teams player last fall.

From the Williams article on the rivals front page:
"Ferguson saw two senior Blackshirts ahead of him on the depth chart at Mike linebacker in Josh Banderas and Chris Weber"

The roster lists Weber as a redshirt junior.
Is that not correct?

Good move with Banderas and Weber ahead of him and MRI able to play MIKE as well

Weber is a redshirt junior this year.

I remember when this kid did his interview with 1620 the day he committed. He was a very exuberant young man, and fairly humble. He was *excited* about the prospect of redshirting, he didn't want to be a guy that played early and didn't have much impact. He wanted to be a beast from the moment that his time came.

So I'm not surprised about this at all.

Great move by Tyrin! He really added on some weight and muscle to be able to play last year, cant wait to see what he can do with an extra year now!

He was a heck of a pass rusher in HS, I wondered if he might help us out in that role this year. Anyway, good to see he has some perspective and a long term plan.
