Figured it out. We are actually playing Alabama! THATS why we are losing so bad

We are losing to 1-win UAB by the same margin as Maine lost to OU today.

Can’t say it enough times. Drop football and all Olympic sports games against ORU become conference games. Is that what you want?
You’d think needing to have the largest comeback of the season to a sub-500 team wouldn’t result in sass but he’s an awful coach.
After a certain point, you can get enough people in the stands to make minimum requirements...
We should all go to the tailgate party before the ECU game, then leave before the game starts. We've always wanted to be like SMU. That would be our chance. I'm not sure that would make an impact. Morale is already very low,
Kids haven't quit, they just have no fire... Hard to keep playing lights out when the staff has let you down this bad.
We look so much slower than them. Like we are drunk or had a holiday meal.
Fortunately, minimum attendance rules were permanently eliminated in 2023.
Speaking of FCS wins, congratulations to UAB for their first FBS win of the year.

No, in 2021 they eased the rules to include not one but two fcs games. One counts toward bowl eligibility.

You can count one FCS win a season towards the 6 win minimum.
Army just recently had an issue because they had two FCS games scheduled a year.
Comparative scores rarely make sense. UTSA just beat Memphis, the week after losing to us.

Losing to a 1-6 team by 38 points shouldn’t be acceptable for any TU football coach. Wilson has been blown out 4 times this season by 30+ points and 4 times last season. That’s all-time records for a TU football coach in consecutive seasons.
That’s 8 blow out, embarrassing losses in 21 games as head coach! How many more times do we need to see these horrible performances to realize he’s not the answer.

It's really apparent that Wilson is not a fit here. I don't think he's happy here and would probably accept a buyout. But he may want more than TU is willing to pay.
You think it's fun to say "I told you so" when I'm watching people pour gasoline on something I love and light the match in front of me?
All while simultaneously be ridiculed for communicating the controversial but correct assessment, and then being ridiculed further for trying to convince ******** that maybe next time they would be wise to listen to me?

It’s a preventative measure. They’ve been doing that for several years.
I’ll be there for both games. It’s like the train wreck that you can’t turn away from.
Unfortunately the persons who make the Coaching hiring decisions at TU are not nearly as knowledgeable about the sport for which they are hiring as are many of the posters on here. Those search committees are still weaker They can find skeletons but don’t know what a RPO is.
I heard quite an evolution in Carson's thinking from Spring to Fall. I think the new AD and staff are having an impact in envisioning what is possible. And that is NOT a criticism of Rick Dickson. Sometimes fresh perspectives and ideas are good.
I don't believe for a second that he wasn't at least in the interview process. May not have pulled the final trigger....
I was shopping with my wife today during game time. Checked the score before I started our drive home. I literally busted out hysterically laughing when I saw the 59 line for UAB.... like, it wasn't surprising..... it was just so morbidly, ironically, depressing I didn't know what else to do.
It was either Dickson or Carson. No one else would really have the authority to make that sort of decision, and in the case of Dickson, it would be because Carson delegated the trust to Dickson and the search firm.He was the AD. Did the search firm push Wilson on us?
