My bet is USM promotes the OC they already have and wind up keeping most, if not all, of their staff. I'm hearing Ron Zook to UNC as defensive coordinator. That would a a huge hire for them. Also, Gunter Brewer as offensive coordinator and Fedora leaves all his staff behind.
Good analysis. EJ definitely doesn't have the job right now. Of that I am 100% sure. The top three right now are Blake Anderson(current OC), Shane Beamer(pushing hard for job) and EJ(also pushing hard for the job). The OC at ULL, Jay Johnson(former OC under Bower) is getting an interview, but has no chance. Fedora's agent is also the agent for Todd Monken, the OC at Oklahoma State. Have heard things are not too rosey over there.... or he thinks he needs HC experience if he wants to go back and replace Spurrier when he retires.
My poker buddy lives next door to Ellis (King's Grant) and according to him they are totally happy. Ellis' wife owns a boutique with a couple of her friends here in Columbia and by all accounts he she is happy and so is he.
I hate to burst your bubble, but the West Hattiesburg/Oak Grove area is about 100x > than Starkville. Yes, I live west of H'burg. I also lived in Starkville for 4 years and go to all the home games. If his wife hated Starkville, she'll probably like H'burg. My wife thinks Starkville is a dump and has let me know many times that she would never live there. (shopping and restaurants....no comparison)

Trashy? Wow. West Hattiesburg/ Oak Grove is very nice. There is nothing "trashy" about Oak Grove, it's not even a close comparison between Hattiesburg and Starkville. I loved Starkville when I was in school, but no way I would consider living there now. I would love to know where this great place is that you live if Hattieaburg is so trashy.
