Will likely only get a couple inches of snow according to my models. Just a ploy by HyVee to drum up business
Going to be one giant letdown. Last time he was in Lincoln we didn't get much either.
I have never seen a community get so excited for something as uncertain as forecasting weather. There is nothing wrong with being prepared, but I doubt any person who lives in a city is going to go weeks without being able to leave their house or anything. Such a severe knee-jerk reaction every time to any weather forecast that contains snow like they are telling us the plague is arriving or something...
They were laying salt and beet juice already here in Lincoln in the last 16 hours. It's suppose to RAIN tonight here in Lincoln so I don't know how useful those prep tactics are actually going to be.

The only legitimate threat this city needs to worry about it a power outage, which I put a 70/30 chance on right now, due to the wind. Even then, it probably wouldn't go on for more than a day, 2 tops. So make sure you have a way to generate heat during that time, and you'll be fine.
