Uh, Oregon is really good.

I know UCLA is not a great team but Oregon was one of the fastest teams I have seen in a long time. I think an Auburn/Oregon national title game could be pretty entertaining. I don't know that LSU could score enough to keep up with the Ducks even though they have a great defense.

to key on the mule and stop him. It will be close and I am sure the genuis will add much drama, but LSU wins.

I think they would beat Boise by 20 this year.

Oregon has lost to Boise each of the past two years. Last year it wasn't even really close.

...but I wonder how much of Oregon's success is tied up in their ability to run that fast-break offense. Something tells me that at some point in the future, the NCAA will make adjustments so that the offense can't play that fast. I mean, they couldn't even show replays when Oregon had the ball. I'm not saying they aren't good. They obviously are. But that offense seems a little gimmicky to me. I'd be skeptical of their success if you gave a good defensive coordinator a month to prepare (as they would if Oregon made the championship game).

What amazes me is their talent. They are very physical and fast. It would be interesting to know their recruiting "strategy". They have alot of talent from California and Texas. California, I can somewhat understand......but Eugene is a long ways from Texas. Not exactly a weekend trip to see moma. Must be something in Eugene to lure in that talent.

Maybe it is that IFP I heard so much about back in 02 (what ever year it was). Ducks make Rebs seem humble when it comes to talking about the IFP.

Their offense is just like ours only ran faster, more exact, and with better athletes. Their D would not stand up to a good rushing team. If we used the same grind 'em gameplan we used against UF we would have a punchers chance. The main thing is to keep their O off the field and have a definitive D plan in place. The pace makes it impossible to change personnel or schemes. Oregon see what you are doing on D, adjusts and goes hyper speed so you can't re-adjust.

Saw them earlier this year, they looked to have the best offense in the land then. But, defense was a bit suspect. Didn't watch last night though. Do know they have another first string caliber qb on the bench- should at least play for the title.

He will be the first to do so against LSU this year. I think Bama, LSU or Auburn can beat Oregon.

Boise's 2010 team is much better than MSU's 2008 team.

All I am saying is what has Oregon done to prove that it deserves to be put in ahead of a team that it has lost to the last 2 years. Meanwhile, that team they have lost to has gone undefeated since 2009?

Its not like Boise's opponents are much worse than the Pac 10 also rans, hell neither of them is the SEC.

the mule gets 100 against LSU, they are very tough to run on. chavis knows the mule is the key & he'll sell out to stop him running. hell we held the mule in check in yards & points, yes he's a talent but he's not unstoppable - if LSU will let jarrett lee get in sync throwing the ball and mix it up with jeffereon running they have a very good chance of beating AU.<div>
</div><div>of course we are talking about les miles so i will not be surprised at any tomfoolery that takes place on the plains tomorrow afternoon.</div>

By the same token, Boise had lost to TCU in the Poinsettia Bowl 2 years in a row, 2007 and 2008. So last year, TCU is better than Boise right? No way Boise beats TCU in a bowl game in 2009 huh?

I still think Bama is the best and most complete team in the conference, despite the loss. I just don't think LSU or Auburn are national championship material. From what I've seen, Oregon is better than either of those two.

That this year there are a lot of Boise haters that think its ******** if they get into the GAME this year. I don't understand this line of thinking they have been biding their time, they have had several undefeated seasons have played in two BCS bowl games and won both. If they go undefeated this year they absolutely deserve a shot over Oregon is all I am saying. Plus an added bonus is that it would get the greedy bigger conferences one step closer to agreeing to a playoff.

I hear the same thing over and over Boise would struggle in the SEC. Yes, I agree so would Oklahoma and Oregon. Hell Oklahoma has struggled with Utah State and Air Force!!!!
