So I saw a video today of the locker room celebration of UNC's big win. Roy was standing there at a whiteboard getting everyone hyped up and he was talking about their path to the Final Four.

He was counting along with the team how many teams were in each round. The struggle was real with how long it took the team to divide each number of teams in half. That's what happens when you substitute math classes with AFAM classes I guess?

Dude they do that after every tournament game, it's sort of a ritual/tradition and they're kids who get a lot of fun out of it. I get the rivalry more than most, my dad is a massive Duke fan and was pretty upset last night but this is overreaching....

And the awesome dance before the game where they look like idiots. That's a ritual I hope they keep

It's not overreaching if you've never watched their post-game lockerroom videos and didn't know it was a tradition. You talk about overreaching yet here you are spying on other teams' boards to see what they're saying about your team? LOL nice.

Seriously bitching about ROy and the team and the celebration? somehow trying to connect it to percieved lack of education? ahahahahahahaha some of you are really reaching.

Then you're speaking from an uninformed position and it is definitely overreaching. I actually used to post here quite a bit and I grew up watching as many Duke games as many of you and probably more than many. Spying on a team's board? Neurotic much? It's an open forum meant for basketball discussion. Both boards have become a lot more hostile over the years, there used to be a lot more open discussion and it was more enjoyable. Obviously our board is guilty of this, without a doubt but reactions like yours (and many posters of ours) don't do anything to bridge that divide.

People who do that are morons. I think we might have been a one point favorite over Nova and they were shooting lights out. You can't overlook anyone in a single elimination tournament and Oregon has the guards and athletes to beat anyone. They were a top team for most of the season and beat some top teams during the season before destroying KU.

The Boucher injury really hurts them, I'm from the same city as him and actually met his family on one occasion, very nice people.

Sorry? I'm probably just misunderstanding you. Anyways, if you guys don't want me to post here, so be it. I'm not a fan who insults Duke players or your program, I don't call players any names or K either. Like I said, I grew up in a Duke house, I just chose a different shade of blue.

Wow, it was harmless needling among Duke fans. Reactions like mine don't help? Have you even looked at majority of the things said about Duke, its players and Coach K? Your board is absolutely nasty towards Coach K and anyone from Duke. The worst things I've seen said about UNC over here are making fun of Roy's love for Coca Cola, Wanda's banana pudding, his lack of timeouts called, and talking about all the cheeseburgers that Meeks used to eat.

I could come up with a huge list of nasty things said by the bulk of your posters including your mods so please don't come over here and act like we're not helping to bridge the divide.

Oh and Luke Maye was made fun of alot here over the years, yet what is in half the threads being posted on since your game yesterday? Props for the guy, taking back comments made over the years all by the rival team. Your board would NEVER compliment a Duke player like that. So get out of here with that trash about Duke fans being responsible for the divide.

Yeah I acknowledged several times that plenty of our posters suck when it comes to that and are just as responsible for the divide. I was just giving you some information on the tradition they have and it was in a UNC thread on this board. My comment about the reaction was mostly in regards to you saying I was spying on your board. The boards just used to be more enjoyable as a whole, like I said we have contributed just as much, maybe more given the larger fan base. More fans, more jerks will be sprinkled into that group. Plenty of nasty things have been said by both sides and it seems to be more and more common, which isn't a good thing.

Our board might compliment a player like that but Roy and K share different philosophies on playing time and recruiting. I don't think Roy's way is best, I do enjoy watching the team grow but I'd be the first to say that I would love a one and done sprinkled into that experienced group every once in a while.

"Perceived?" Only a unc fan would take umbrage. This is why the Tarhole Nation does itself a disservice by staying insulated. unx is in Year 7 of the most egregious academic/athletic scandal in NCAA history. Even if they skate , they'll always be a punchline. Even the most casual observer of collegiate sports will think of unx when academics and athletics are referenced. "unx? Oh yeah. They still have fake classes down there?" lulz. Is what it is. Don't be offended when other fanbases judge ya on such things. And not fer nuthin' ya brought it on yourselves. Not our fault.

As an accounting professor, I can assure that net operating loss carry backs and carry forwards are not "loopholes." They are longstanding features of the Internal Revenue Code that are freely available to utilize. They are taught in any introductory corporate tax class.

Yep but you can't get them to understand. They are entitled. butterbutt44 is the perfect example. The heels are in the final four so guys like him take it as a given that he and his comrades are privileged to post here as if they were over at thr without any recourse. They are tar heel fans. They can't help it. It's their nature. Do we really believe they would be over here if unc had already been eliminated. May heaven help us if they win the natty. They will over run this board. OFC

Stop. There are UNC fans hanging around...their heads could explode. It's a good thing you lost most of them with the first long word - "accounting." Luckily "accounting" is very similar to another word they can't possibly understand - "accountable."

The gentleman you referred to as "slightly creepy" is highly intelligent and simply knows his stuff when it comes to the 2 plus decades of academic shenanigans pulled at UNC-Chapel Hill. I am sorry his diligence and conscientious following of the case proves so irksome for you. Truth hurts.

butterbutt44 knows just how far he can get on this board without getting banned so he and others like him get bolder and bolder as they go to what they know the limit is. The reason he referred to DevilDJ is slightly creepy is because DevilDJ is so persistent in going after unc and the academic scandal. If the NCAA were that persistant unc may be short a couple of natty's and short a few victories and trolls such as butterbutt44 wouldn't be over here posting. His post at the top of this page was a pure troll post. Yes he will read this and run over to thr and let them know what a $^% and $&#% I am but most of them think that's what I am anyway some it's not going to be a note worthy post. butterbutt44 I know you are not going to stop posting here until you do eventually slip up and cross the line and I only can speak for myself but I wish you would take your wisdom and stay at home.
