It is funny how Heels fans were GONE for so, so long, as their school has been getting absolutely hammered for the worst scandal in NCAA history.
Then they think that winning a few basketball games gives them the chance to come back?
Come on guys. There are more important things than winning a few ball games, and you still own it ALL.

North Carolina has... stalled, obfuscated and contested the NCAA’s authority, which has only served to draw out an already laborious process even further.
It’s a strategy that may only hurt the school in the long-term, but in the short-term it’s proven a stroke of genius. Given a window of opportunity, the Tar Heels have pounced.
And if this run ends next Monday with Williams hoisting his third national championship trophy, you might say those $18 million in legal fees were well-spent.

Haha people are so right about your fanbase. You are so salty no matter if you win or lose. Your school has decades of academic fraud. I won't argue whether or not it's attached to sports, because the mere fact that you support a fraudulent school yet have the nerve to criticize what anyone else does with their time is absolutely hilarious.
Why do you support a school that did what they did to their student body? The students who participated, athletes or not, are responsible for participating but the school is where the blame lies. If I found out Duke did what UNC is guilty of, I would probably stop watching the games and have trouble supporting my team. For some of us morality and integrity mean something.
Oh most definitely. 2-3 seasons in he saw something suspect in their class schedules. It's been said that he and the coaching staff know every move these guys make academically then as the investigation wore on, the opposite was said. Roy is crooked.
But he doesn't know he's crooked. He thinks it's ok because it's unc. That's how they think there. From the administration, the athletic dept, johnny swofford and of course their fan base. They really think it's ok and if it's not they are convinced that everyone else does it. Back many months ago I would ask my unc friends what they thought about the academic fraud and they all said "everyone does it. Even Duke. " They really feel that way and are victims now. Now what happened at Syracuse , UL and other schools now that is wrong and dirty and those schools should be punished to the fullest extent. They really feel this way and #roynew is exactly right but it doesn't matter. OFC
Crooked as a snake!!! Everybody in the athletic dept knew. Wayne Walden (Roy's right hand academics man during that time) even ADMITTED he "couldnt recall" if he told Williams about the "clustering" of basketball players in AFAM classes....What a dead giveaway!!! #RoyKnew

DevilDJ does an outstanding job of doing his part to make sure this scandal doesn't just 'go away', like every Tar Heel fan wants it to. And if this scandal was about Duke, and if DevilDJ was all over it, you would love him.
Oh, and anyone from THR coming over here to DI to complain about one of our posters, while putting up with the shite that goes on over at THR...well, as one of our posters, JCdevil, would say...now that's rich.
