Then he let his guy drive it right to the basket without any kind of resistance. Man it’s so damn frustrating!
One of the biggest screw ups Pope has made was taking his boy Robinson over Will Riley. We’d be a legit top 10 team with Riley instead of Robinson.

Idk guys…this Pope offense ain’t lookin too good against good teams.
Our lack of skill from the 5 gets exposed against top defenses. Using the 5 as a passer/playermaker is a feature of the offense for Pope. Good defenses compel the 5 the make plays a bit out of their skill level. leading to some mistakes.

We actually made a good run against Duke by playing Carr at the 5. That gave us 5 players on the floor with offensive punch from the perimeter. The opposition 5 couldn't contain Carr off the bounce.

I get that. But obviously it needs adjusting.
He needs to adjust to his roster. Garrison turns it over every time he tries it and Carr always looks like he’s about to, dribbling it at full arms’ length.
