I thought some of our recent teams were as defensively weak as it gets. But this team allows more layups and layup attempts than any team in recent memory.

Thankfully there is a second half. I expect things to turn around, but we won't win this one by much unless Pope has a zone in his back pocket.
I know no one wants to hear this but we cannot keep playing like this in the first half of every game. It isn’t going to work out favorably for us if we do. Not this year in the SEC.
I love the 2nd half comebacks. But why can’t we just come out of the gate and kill a team?
every 3 we take is guarded heavily, whatever action Pope is running isnt working, we should be back dooring them to death
Amari's body language, lack of effort, is startling. Pope has a problem getting guys motivated for games.
He’s been pretty impressive, yes, but he’s averaging 8/5 this season … so he is capable.
Ohio St is playing very physical defense and our guys can't handle it, which is surprising since we have older guys. Post up Carr and play through him to start the 2nd half like you did against Duke. Play inside out to start opening up the 3 because we aren't getting any open looks.
He doesn’t, but he’s still been absolute trash all game. Both can be true.

Are we ever gonna come to the realization that we’re not really a great team and most definitely not the 4th best team in the country and the only thing that has us in that position is a couple big come backs. We struggle to score against the normal power 5 conference athletes. And our defense is not at the level it has to be. Here we go. See if Pope can make another halftime adjustment that makes a difference. I know it sure isn’t gonna be a good feeling being down 10 or more in a 2nd round ncaa tourney game.
