UK will make another pitching change, bringing on closer Chris Machamer, who was not expected to throw today. Trying to get one out from him.
Jung now up and he's hit well in this one. He's the tying run. Haake goes up 1-2 and radar guns are aimed at him as he gets Jung swinging on a nasty breaking ball!!
UK going to Mach. Kind of strange to go to him after Haake gets a K, but I imagine they want to save him a bit if he's needed for long relief later this weekend.

Mach looking a bit interesting wearing his pants at the bottom of the calf. Mach works a 2-2 count with some nasty heat. Those radar guns still aimed at the UK mound with a full count. STRIKE THREE!!!
Winning game one is huge towards winning the series. We need to play cleaner baseball, but giving Tech their first loss is big time and we have a chance to win the series.
Well our batting average went down and our ERA went up but we got the win.

It is a shame the weather was so terrible this weekend and the SEC basketball tournament is at exactly the same time, just killed the crowd today.
But tomorrow first pitch at 1, supposed to be sunny low to mid 50s, pretty nice for March. Hope for a much bigger crowd tomorrow.
Ugly or not, beating the no. 3 team in the country after spotting them 3 runs is a big, big win.
