I caught the PK’s. Maryland’s goalkeeper is a punk. Pointing at our players and stuff, so unclassy.

Yeah. I’m convinced we could find a better tactician who can still recruit at a high level. The brand and facilities do 99% of the recruiting anyways.

FWIW I thought that the UNC men played quite well vs the #4 team in the nation on their field. the 1-1 score through OT was accurate.
the problem obviously is the regular season gaffes that had us playing on the home field of the #4 team in the country this early in the tourney.

Letter of the contract says it goes thru June 2026 so could be a while before we see any updates
Pretty insane men’s soccer tourney: the top 3 teams lost their first game and the 4th team Md only advanced by beating us on PKs. And the upsets just continued to pile up.
The college cup is now set:
These are all top 25 teams to be fair, but Men’s soccer is ruled by parity.

Team had been to the tournament since 2019, new coach comes in and immediately goes Sweet 16 for the first time since 1992 and then get the first first championship game appearance ever the next year.
