Thanks for the update. Our women will have to keep fighting. Hopefully, this will help us by letting them see how a number 1 team looks, it will expose their weaknesses, and hopefully inspire our coaches to continue to bring in top level talent for women's swimming.
UNC Men get edged by 1 point by losing the final event. But a solid showing by UNC.

Men’s Swimming Edged By One Point, Women Fall At Virginia - University of North Carolina Athletics
The men's team pushed UVA to the limit but came up one point short, while the women dropped their dual with the Cavaliers.
UVA women are ranked number 1 for a reason. Our coaching staff must do a better job of recruiting if we are going to compete with teams like that. That is the bottom line. If not then our women's team will continue to get hammered like this when they face top caliber teams moving forward.

Good for you for going....swim struggles to attract fans at meets across D1 for a lot of reasons. There have been some creative ideas at some schools to bring in fans, but more schools need to figure out a way for a meet to be entertaining to the average person that knows little about the sport.
Agree. Have been to a couple State meets in Raleigh and especially the Arizona State meet last year was like a big party with a swim meet going on. Crazy environment. Interested in seeing how Carolina handles this Friday night.
ACCs start tomorrow, a few changes this year apparently. We will have diving tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday before beginning the swimming events Tuesday.
Swimswam has picked the women 6th and the men's article is not up yet.
Notable from the Psych Sheets: UNC has 4 men diving, but only Sophia Knight is scheduled to dive for the women. Not sure what has happened to Gutch and Joyce. That will hurt.
