Undecided WR's

I saw that we offered Emeka Emezie at WR a couple days ago. He doesn't show an offer from NU on Rivals though. Sounds like we'll be taking 2 or 3 more WR's in this class. So made me think who all do we have a shot for if we're still going out with offers.

The undecided's with NU offers according to Rivals:

Ryan Jones 5.8 6'2" 201 Charlotte, NC (NCState decommit, unknown favs)
DeVonta Smith WR 6 6'1" 160 Amite, LA (Alabama fav)
Jeff Thomas WR 5.9 5'10" 165 East St. Louis, IL (NU not in top picks)
Danny Davis WR 5.9 6'2" 180 Springfield, OH (NU not in top picks)
Joseph Lewis WR 6.1 6'2" 197 Los Angeles, CA (NU in top picks)
Jamire Calvin WR 5.8 5'10" 165 Los Angeles, CA (NU in top picks)
Gavin Holmes WR 5.7 5'11" 180 Justin, TX (NU in top picks)

It really is down to Lewis, Calvin, and Holmes, and that's about it. Throw in Ryan Jones, late offers like Emezie, or flips.

What about that kid...uh....Da'ron Davis down in Mizzouri I think it was? Came to camp and impressed over the summer, but we kind of held off because Calvin and those guys were higher in the mix. Davis was still a 4* I believe and I think committed to Mizzou. Also the kid from Ohio, kind of a risk but just put out a final 10 a week or so ago, gosh I can't remember his name. But I think Kentucky is the fav there with Morrow on the job. He's also a 4* player.

I'm hearing Davis has grade issues.

I wouldn't be surprised if we signed six, but five is what Williams wants. Returning in 2017 we'll have five scholarship wideouts, and one of them is Darlington. That's not good, we need guys now. It'll help with KJJ and McQuitty enrolling early but still.

Jody Lewis is the single most important offensive recruit in this class. We have nobody like him, on the roster or commit list and Jody is a day one guy. I wish we offered his high school coaches positions within the staff. Heck, find a position for his mom, do whatever to get him on campus.

Ya, he showed up on a HOL article recently. I had to look him up before I recognized the name. He's listed as an "athlete", I think I will run out of gas long before I make it to "athlete".
