There was 2:05 on the clock. He takes a knee...the pats get a free TO after the Bills run one play. By running out, he takes the clock down to 2 minutes on the return and the pats have to burn all three timeouts on D, leaving none for a final drive.

He should have told his returner to just stay in end zone dont take knee right away let 5 seconds go by then take knee or fall. Especially since the guy fumbled earlier in the game and since they were expecting onside kick and didnt have return set up. Ignorant on returners part more ignorant on ST's coach.

when he caught the ball 2 yards deep in the endzone. He even hesitated before running it out. Who cares if they had the 2 minute warning left. The Pats would have burned some time outs anyway. Who knows, they may have even ran for a first down.
